California Academy of Science

Today me and my family visited the California Academy of Science.

There was a dome with a rainforest simulation inside. Within it, the temperature is high, with native plants, birds and insects everywhere. Butterflies flitted precariously close to humans, and colorful birds caught the eyes of many tourists. At the bottom, a lake is full of sleek fishes.

Later, we entered the aquarium. Inside were the 'hidden treasures' of the deep.

SF trip

A few days ago, I went to San Francisco with my art teacher and some other students.

We got there on bart and took a ferry boat ride. And thankfully I didn't get sea sick, although it was only about 45 minutes long.There, we saw the bay bridge.After that, we walked a bit on the streets. There were alot of interesting people...

And I also noticed there was a whole lot more graffiti everywhere than my home city.Our destination was the De Young Legion of Honor, an art museum. I don't think we were allowed to take any pictures inside there, though...

Later, we ascended to the ninth floor, where you can see all of SF! So pretty...

At the gift shop I bought a spiffy looking pencil and two pins. It was quite expensive, especially since I cannot seem to locate them now...

Showing off my artistic talent

Kitty drove down the golden gate bridge in her shiny red ferrari. The mountains in the distance were outlined with gold from the sun, and the sky was a brilliant blue. (Golden Gate Bridge)

She drove up to a quiet pasture, and sat on the frail, wooden fence. Sunlight bleached through the trees behind her, and yellow stalks of wheat grew higher than her head. (Country)

Kitty walked into her home and saw a vase on the table. Amongst the beautiful white and pink tulips, intricate twigs with small white flowers branched out from the center. (Flowers)
Besides the vase was a large, circular tank. Inside, two orangish-pink jellyfish float.

Kitty looked out the window, and she saw Taipei 101. Below, obscured by the fog was the city. (Self-portrait by Taipei 101)

She sat down on her chair, and picked up her brush, then started to paint. (Palette of my Life)

I am most proud of the last two! It does sort of look like me... maybe. I'm not that ugly, am I? Ah well. You may notice in the last picture the painting "I" am painting is of the one above it. :D
