Two tests...

I got an 94% on my science test and I felt sad.

I got a 70% on my math quiz and I was ready to celebrate.

The Reason:

I was optimistic about the science test, and I was pessimistic about the math quiz.

On the science test...

I thought I did would get no more than a -2...

BUT I GOT A -3!

On the math quiz...

I thought I would get less than a 50%...

BUT I GOT A 70%! :D

Pessimism: You are either correct or pleasantly surprised.
