We made some more goat milk soap in different shapes. The recipe is the same, but just poured into a different mold.

New Gadjets
I'm so happy! Yesterday my dad went to Fry's and bought a all-in-one USB port.
Before, I had to go to my mom's computer the only computer that can read memory cards, upload the pictures onto a USB then take it to my computer and upload it then. It was very tiring and I always dreamed of my computer having a faster way to upload pictures.

Food food and more food
Today, I went to Covent Garden Cafe, a little sandwich place down by Ohlone. My brother ordered quickly, but I stood in front of the menu thinking... deeply...
I got a crunchy chicken salad sandwich, and my brother got a BLT something like that. And they all included a small pack of chips. :)
My lovely crunchy chicken salad sandwich.
And my brother's lovely BLT or something like that sandwich. For dinner, my mom made Chinese Chive Box. Inside is bits of noodles and chives, and on the outside is crunchy yam paste skin. It is very very good!

Hot Pot City
Today I went to Hot Pot City. UNFORTUNATELY I did not bring a camera so I have no pictures, so I'll just copy them from their website.
Hot Pot City is just basically a place with a lot of hot pots (gasp). You put water in the pot and butter on the pan and turn on the fire and put meat and stuff on it and eat all you can eat. :)

This is a hot pot.It was really good. Also you can get your own shaved ice, and put all sorts of stuff on it.
Here is the buffet.
When you turn on the fire at the hot pot, there will be alot of smoke. I bet my face is all black from leaning over it to see if the food is done cooking. X.X

Catz
My favorite animal is a cat (and any type of cat, lion, tiger, panther, serval...etc) so when my mom was cleaning out my dad's wardrobe, she found a Catz game.
In the Catz game, you adopt and raise your own kitty! This kitty's name is Bunbun. Look he's sleeping!Bunbun is mad at me. D:This one is Ashy, because he's the color of ash. Here, he's caught a mouse.
This is Hunter. He lives true to his name. :)And here he is hunting a yarnball. XD
And this is... Garfield. XD
His eyes are always half closed... Aren't cats cute~ :DFriday, December 25, 2009
Soap Wrapping
Since our soup was such a success, my mom decided to wrap them uniquely. Now
they are ready for gifting.
This is a small bag we found at Daiso, a japanese store.
Christmas
Merry Christmas! My family did so much fun things this Christmas!
First was the presents. Our neighbors gave us clothes (again). Each year they wrap up so much clothes for us we never need to buy any!
After that, we celebrated my dad's birthday. His birthday is Christmas. We ate some cake we bought the day before at Shenkee Bakery. It was rasberry-mango I think.
I turned my slice into a reindeer. :D
We went on a walk around the block. We passed Mission Creek.
This is my school.
And some flowers.
Today was really fun! :D I can't wait until next year! :)

Steakhouse
Today me and my family ate at a steakhouse called Countryway Steakhouse. We were probably the only Asians there. As always.
I remember long, long loooong ago I had come to the same place. I forgot what I ordered, but I still remembered the slanted roof and wood walls.
And here is my dessert... or the last of it anyways... it was yummy :D
Then... we drove home stuffed and watched House.

I ordered chicken in gravy sauce with a side of veggies and potato. The potato came as either mashed, baked or fried. I chose baked, and I stole a fry from my dad, who ordered french fries.
